Membership Application Information
If you you would like to become a member of the Oakland Nature Friends, simply:
- Have a sincere interest in fostering and furthering the purposes for which the Nature Friends Corporation was formed.
- Have two sponsors who are members in good standing for at least three (3) years and who have known you personally for at least one year.
- Prospective members may obtain an application form from one of their sponsors.
- Come to a board meeting with your sponsors to introduce yourself.
- When the board accepts your application, join us for:
- At least three work days (1st Saturday of each month; 9:00 to 12:00)
- Volunteer at one festival, and
- Enjoy at least two of our social events.
- Good news! If you help at a Heidelmann Lodge workday that counts as one of the three workdays!
- After a six months probation period, the members vote at a quarterly or annual meeting on your acceptance to the club.
